ACUSTIC® FL represents a product made from waste conifer wood. It is specifically treated and worked in order to produce wood fibre panels suited for thermal and acoustic installation within green building contexts.
ACUSTIC® FL falls within the category of renewable and recyclable materials where waste materials from the first time the material is used can be put to use. The panel primary materials do not undergo specific industrial treatments, hence, remaining a natural product.
Wood is a natural and renewable material, which has always been used. It immediately appears as a material which is easy to restore, and suited to varied requirements. In fact, its use varies - it is used to manufacture cars, ships, transport means and residences.
As it is a material which is easy to use and always renewable, it is largely employed for building constructions, creating natural, comfortable and safe structures.
The contemporary wood industry, recognising the potential of this material, has developed overall use of the wood resource, ensuring renewability and quality control. In fact, subsequent to cutting the largest trunk elements, that which is defined as waste is used to produce products, such as:
